Simple procedure to enable dual booting with MS-DOS 6.22 in OSR2
    ----------------------------------------------------------------

This procedure is intended to easily install MS-DOS 6.22 on a computer
that is preloaded with Windows 95 OSR2. This will also simultaneously fix
the Windows 95 OSR2 boot failure after starting DOS 6.22 for the first
time. You'll need your original DOS 6.22 setup diskettes.

Installation
------------

Start Windows 95 OSR2. Then make sure that you have all the files here in
a temporary directory. Then just right-click

INST_ENG.INF - if you have english DOS 6.22 setup diskettes
INST_GER.INF - if you have german DOS 6.22 setup diskettes

in Explorer and select "Install" ("Installieren" in german Windows 95
OSR2). These scripts will do the following:

 - Install DOS 6.22 from the original setup diskettes in A: to
folder C:\DOS. Have your DOS 6.22 setup diskettes available !
 - Rename DOS 6.22 system files so that dual boot is working (tricky).
 - Add the line 'BootMulti=1' to C:\MSDOS.SYS to make 'Previous
operating system' appear in OSR2 boot menu
 - Install a default AUTOEXEC.BAT and CONFIG.SYS (AUTOEXEC.DOS and
CONFIG.DOS in the beginning) for DOS 6.22

You can undo these changes in Control Panel-Software-Install/Deinstall-
"MS-DOS 6.22."

Now you can restart your computer and boot DOS 6.22 by pressing F8 and se-
lecting "Previous operating system" from the menu.

Make changes to AUTOEXEC.BAT and CONFIG.SYS as needed now.
